Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services **Job Summary** The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. This role includes monitoring activities, enforcing regulations, and responding to incidents in a timely and efficient manner. **Key Responsibilities** * **Surveillance**: Monitor surveillance cameras and patrol assigned areas to prevent and respond to incidents. * **Access Control**: Manage access to the premises by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel. * **Incident Response**: Respond to alarms and emergencies, conducting investigations and reporting situations to relevant authorities as needed. * **Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, and identify potential security risks or hazards. * **Reporting**: Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. * **Customer Service**: Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and addressing concerns politely and professionally. * **Collaboration**: Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. * **Training**: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on safety protocols and emergency procedures. **Qualifications** * **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security management is a plus. * **Experience**: Previous experience as a security guard or related role is preferred. * **Certifications**: Valid security guard license; certification in first aid and CPR is an advantage. * **Skills**: * Strong observational and surveillance skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to remain calm and composed in emergencies. * Proficient in the use of security equipment and tools. **Physical Requirements** * Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods. * Capability to lift and carry up to \[insert weight] lbs as needed. * Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies. **Work Conditions** * May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Work may involve exposure to inclement weather and various environments.
