Coordinate various engineering disciplines to optimize designs. **Job Title: Architectural Engineer** **Company Overview (Customizable)** Korolovszky Architecture \& Engineering is a leading \[industry sector, e.g., design\-build, construction, real estate development] firm committed to innovative, sustainable, and high\-performance building solutions. We integrate architectural design with structural and building systems engineering to deliver efficient, safe, and aesthetically compelling projects. **Position Summary** We are seeking a skilled **Architectural Engineer** to bridge the gap between architectural vision and engineering reality. In this role, you will focus on the technical performance of buildings—including structural integrity, building envelope design, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) coordination, and material selection—while ensuring compliance with codes, sustainability standards, and constructability. **Key Responsibilities**Design \& Technical Development * Develop detailed construction documents, technical drawings, and specifications for building systems (structural, envelope, and integrated MEP). * Perform structural analysis and select appropriate materials (steel, concrete, masonry, timber) to meet safety and performance criteria. * Coordinate architectural design with civil, structural, and MEP engineering disciplines to resolve clashes and optimize space usage. * Evaluate building envelope systems (walls, roofing, glazing, insulation) for thermal, moisture, and air infiltration control. Code Compliance \& Safety * Ensure designs comply with local/international building codes (IBC, NEC, energy codes, fire safety, accessibility standards). * Conduct load calculations, seismic/wind analysis, and life\-safety assessments. * Prepare permit sets and respond to plan check comments from municipal authorities. Construction Support * Provide technical support during construction, including site visits, RFI (Request for Information) responses, and submittal reviews. * Review shop drawings and material samples for conformance with design intent. * Troubleshoot field issues related to structural or envelope performance.
