Summary: Seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage material procurement, vendor coordination, logistics, and purchasing for power transmission and substation projects. Highlights: 1. Manage procurement of electrical, mechanical, and project-related materials. 2. Coordinate with KAHRAMAA-approved vendors and logistics teams. 3. Utilize ERP systems for procurement records and documentation. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **Procurement Officer** to manage material procurement, vendor coordination, logistics, and purchasing activities for power transmission and substation projects. Key Responsibilities * Manage procurement of electrical, mechanical, and project\-related materials. * Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and project requirements. * Coordinate with **KAHRAMAA\-approved vendors** and suppliers. * Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations, and support purchase order processing. * Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material delivery. * Coordinate with logistics teams for material transportation and delivery. * Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and outstanding procurement items. * Maintain procurement records, supplier information, and related documentation in **ERP systems**. * Coordinate with project, engineering, warehouse, and finance teams. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and project specifications. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. * **Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.** * Strong experience in vendor management and material procurement. * Experience in logistics coordination and supplier follow\-up. * Good working knowledge of **ERP systems**. * Experience handling **KAHRAMAA\-approved vendors** will be highly preferred. * Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and organizational skills. * GCC/Qatar experience in construction, power, or substation projects will be an advantage.
