Operating from our strategic hub in the Hamad Port Zone, we are appointing a Head of Internal Audit to lead our independent risk evaluation and corporate governance functions. This is a high\-impact leadership role; you will establish and execute a comprehensive audit program that scrutinizes our heavy transport logistics, capital expenditure projects, asset utilization, and financial compliance frameworks to safeguard our operating margins and asset infrastructure. **Key Leadership Directives** * Construct and execute a risk\-based annual internal audit plan covering all logistical, financial, operational, and commercial divisions. * Lead deep\-dive audits into fleet procurement contracts, fuel management systems, maintenance logs, and high\-value equipment leasing agreements. * Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of supply chain operations, internal control mechanisms, and asset tracking networks within the port zone. * Identify operational bottlenecks, financial leakages, or compliance gaps, formulating robust corrective action plans for senior management. * Provide objective, data\-driven audit findings, risk\-exposure reports, and governance recommendations directly to the Audit Committee and executive board. **Who Fits the Profile** * 9 to 13 years of progressive internal audit, risk advisory, or corporate governance experience, with a solid background directly within heavy logistics, port operations, shipping, or heavy industrial sectors. * Advanced mastery of internal auditing standards (IIA), risk management methodologies, and data\-driven forensic accounting techniques. * Thorough understanding of transport logistics compliance, maritime gateway regulations, and GCC customs frameworks. * A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, backed by essential professional credentials such as a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA / ACCA. **The Settlement Package** We provide a flat, all\-inclusive monthly package of QAR 39,000, which covers your base remuneration, local housing provisions in Doha, and transport allocations.
