Summary: The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing various project reports, managing project schedules using Primavera P6, and conducting performance analysis for DNO&M projects. Prepare comprehensive reports for executive and financial teams **Planning Engineer** **Location:** Qatar **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. * Internationally recognized Project Management qualification is preferred. * Chartered Membership in a relevant discipline will be an advantage. * Educational qualifications obtained from North America, Western Europe, or Australia are preferred. * Minimum **10 years of cumulative experience** in a relevant field. * Experience in project management and managing complex or multi\-contractor design projects is preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software, particularly: * Primavera P6 * Microsoft Project * MS Access * Excel * PowerPoint * Strong ability to prepare executive reports. * Experience with capital project management systems and tools, including reporting, project delivery, stakeholder management, decision tracking, and capital investment planning. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare the **Works Program Report (WPR)** for all DNO\&M projects, identifying projects at risk, promoting transparency, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. * Prepare and issue individual section reports detailing scope, cost, contractor compliance, and highlighting high\-risk projects. * Prepare **Cost Forecast Reports** to support the Finance Team in financial forecasting and budget achievement. * Prepare **Business\-as\-Usual (BAU) Reports**, including KPI Reports, Asset Management Reports, Finance Reports, WPR, SHEQ Reports, and internal issues. * Review pre\-flight framework schedules for procurement processes, identify delays, and forecast one\-month look\-ahead activities. * Create project baselines and update progress for all DNO\&M projects using **Primavera P6**. * Conduct section review meetings for high\-risk projects and recommend corrective actions. * Update the **Hit and Miss Portal** daily to ensure approved baselines and variation orders are properly recorded and monitored. * Prepare pre\-flight delay analysis reports and presentations for framework and non\-framework projects at all stages. * Report the status of all ongoing projects to the Engineering Services Department. * Prepare supplier performance reports based on contractor scorecards and evaluations. **Experience** * Minimum **10 years of relevant experience**. * Previous experience in capital projects, infrastructure, utilities, or multidisciplinary environments is highly desirable.
