They create blueprints (AutoCAD/Revit), perform load calculations, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.** **Key Responsibilities** * **Design and Analysis:** Develop HVAC system schematics, layouts, and components using CAD/Revit, ensuring compliance with local codes (IMC, IECC). * **Calculations:** Perform precise heating and cooling load calculations, as well as equipment selection (pumps, fans, chillers). * **Project Management:** Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues during construction phases. * **Collaboration:** Work with architects, contractors, and clients to integrate mechanical systems into building structures. * **Sustainability:** Research and implement energy\-efficient technologies to improve system performance and reduce costs.
