Propose value engineering solutions for cost savings **Responsibilities •** Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit\-out projects by analyzing architectural plans, specifications, and other relevant documents. This includes estimating the costs of materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources. • Quantity Take\-offs: Perform precise quantity take\-offs from blueprints and design documents to determine material and labor requirements for each project. • Bid Preparation: Compile and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring all necessary information is included, such as pricing, timeframes, and exclusions. • Market Research: Stay updated on market conditions, material pricing, and labor rates to ensure that estimates are accurate and reflect current trends. • Supplier \& Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure the most cost\-effective solutions are utilized in project estimates. • Project Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks or uncertainties in projects and provide contingency recommendations to mitigate them. • Collaboration with Project Team: Work closely with project managers, architects, designers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals, schedules, and client expectations. • Cost Tracking \& Adjustments: Review and adjust estimates as projects progress, including re\-estimation in case of scope changes or new project information. • Value Engineering: Propose alternative materials or construction methods to provide cost savings or enhance project value while maintaining quality standards. • Client Interaction: Present estimates to clients and provide explanations on cost breakdowns, answering any queries related to project costs and scope. • Document Management: Maintain accurate records of estimates, project documents, and correspondence for future reference and audit purposes. **Qualifications and Skills** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. * Minimum 3 to 5 yrs GCC experience preferably in Qatar as a civil estimator, specifically in interior fit\-out projects. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards, particularly in interior construction. * Proficiency in estimation software such as Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or equivalent, as well as standard office tools like Excel and Word. * Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications. * Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and project teams. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. * Knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to interior fit\-out works. • Strong organizational and time management skills QID with NOC Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From QAR7,000\.00 per month Experience: * Cashier: 1 year (Preferred)
