




Summary: Lead the development and implementation of unit costing procedures and cost analysis frameworks to optimize operational efficiency and performance in Middle East operations. Highlights: 1. Lead projects to develop and implement full unit costing procedures. 2. Develop and implement effective cost analysis and reporting models. 3. Support management decision-making with robust cost analysis. Due to the continued success of our Middle East operations, we are looking for a **Cost Analyst (Operation and Maintenance)**.* Independently lead the project to develop and implement a full unit costing procedure to achieve an auditable unit cost in collaboration with the relevant teams/departments within the client organization. * Develop and implement an effective cost analysis, benchmarking, and reporting model/framework in line with best practices and international standards to support the client in achieving their cost / operational efficiency and performance objectives, such as maximizing asset utilization, reducing operation and maintenance costs, and extending asset lives. * Develop performance metrics / KPIs to support the client in improving performance. * Transform the invoice/payment process to ensure outsourced costs are recorded timely on an ongoing basis in accordance with the full unit costing procedure. * Coordinate with the relevant teams/departments to establish tools and systems for unit costing. * Develop cost analysis to support management decision\-making related to tariff setting, asset investment, operation and maintenance, etc. * Validate the periodic results, interpret trends/findings, and communicate / present results to management. **Qualifications:** * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or MBA from a Western country is a must. * Preferably holding a professional certification in a relevant field. * Minimum 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, or similar roles, preferably in a Western country. * Strong data analytics, project management, leadership, change management, time management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. * Self\-motivated and ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Ability to take initiative and carry out duties with minimal supervision. * Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. * Fluency in the Arabic language is preferred.
