Job Summary: Developing and maintaining economic and financial models, analyzing data, and evaluating projects to support strategic decision-making and reporting. Key Highlights: 1. Developing and maintaining economic and financial models to support strategic planning. 2. Analyzing economic data and evaluating investment projects. 3. Using advanced analytical and modeling tools such as Python and MATLAB. Economic Modeler Key Responsibilities: * Developing and maintaining economic and financial models to support feasibility studies and strategic planning. * Analyzing economic and commercial data and preparing scenarios and future forecasts. * Evaluating projects and investments using financial and economic analysis tools. * Building cash flow models, sensitivity analyses, and risk analyses. * Supporting investment and expansion decisions through advanced economic analysis. * Preparing reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. * Monitoring market indicators, economic trends, and their impact on business operations. * Collaborating with finance, strategy, planning, and operations teams. * Using analytical and modeling tools such as: * Excel Advanced Modeling * Power BI * Python * MATLAB * @Risk * Ensuring accuracy of data and assumptions used in models. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. * A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA or FMVA are preferred. * Minimum 5–10 years of experience in economic modeling or financial analysis. * Experience in oil & gas, energy, or investment sectors is a strong advantage. * Advanced skills in financial analysis and economic modeling. * Strong ability to analyze data and build scenarios and forecasts. * Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills. * Proficiency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
