Create and enter office correspondence using a computer. Distribute and route mail. Order and track supplies and forms required for the human resources department. Respond to telephone calls and take messages. Create new employee files. Assist candidates with application procedures. Maintain the area designated for applications and ensure its cleanliness, condition, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Respond to employee and management inquiries, requests, and issues regarding chain and human resources department programs, policies, and procedures. Inform human resources management of employee relations issues within the department or property. Preserve the confidentiality and security of personnel and hotel records, files, and information. Accurately maintain all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I\-9\). Monitor and follow all chain policies and procedures; ensure wearing a clean and complete work uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times in the workplace; respect confidentiality in disseminating brand and/or hotel-specific information and protect all company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor. Welcome and greet all guests according to brand standards. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and accurately and thoroughly proofread written documents; answer the phone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; work together and support each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Enter and retrieve job-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
