Key responsibilities * Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans; create and maintain project documentation (charters, plans, RACI). * Lead cross‑functional technical teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, product, security) to deliver features, integrations, and infrastructure projects. * Manage project schedules, milestones, and dependencies; track progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines. * Facilitate sprint planning, standups, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies as required. * Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate when necessary and drive resolution. * Coordinate technical design reviews and ensure alignment with architecture, security, and scalability requirements. * Manage stakeholder communications: status reports, executive updates, meeting facilitation, and expectation management. * Oversee change control, scope management, and documentation of decisions and tradeoffs. * Maintain budget oversight and vendor/contractor coordination for third‑party services and integrations. * Drive quality and delivery standards, ensure adequate testing, and support release planning and deployment activities. * Measure project performance using KPIs (velocity, burn‑down, delivery predictability) and drive continuous improvement. * Mentor and coach team members on project processes, tooling, and best practices. * Support post‑implementation reviews and capture lessons learned. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications preferred. * 3\+ years (mid) to 7\+ years (senior) experience managing technical software or infrastructure projects. * Strong technical understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, and system architecture to communicate effectively with engineers. * Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello, MS Project). * Excellent stakeholder management, verbal/written communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. * Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation preferred. **Preferred skills** * Technical background in web/backend development, DevOps, or infrastructure. * Certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI\-ACP, or equivalent. * Familiarity with observability, security, and SRE practices. * Experience with data migration, integration projects, and API\-led architectures. * Basic familiarity with scripting, SQL, or infrastructure\-as\-code (Terraform) is a plus.
