Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for AC and refrigeration systems **Job Summary:** The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including chillers, package units, split ACs, and related cooling equipment. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge and hands\-on experience in diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issues while ensuring safety and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, package units, FCUs, AHUs, and split AC units. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. * Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs. * Monitor and maintain chilled water systems, compressors, thermostats, pumps, motors, and control panels. * Ensure proper functioning of package units and chillers to maintain required cooling performance. * Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before system failure occurs. * Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. * Handle refrigerant charging, leak testing, and gas recovery procedures safely. * Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and work completion documentation. * Follow company safety standards and HVAC operational procedures at all times. * Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance staff for shutdowns and emergency repairs. * Ensure tools and equipment are maintained properly and used safely. **Requirements \& Qualifications:** * Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Air Conditioning \& Refrigeration or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance. * Hands\-on experience with Chillers and Package Units is mandatory. * Good knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration principles. * Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics. * Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety standards. * Physically fit and able to work in maintenance and site environments. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
