We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in various settings. This is a critical role requiring strong technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and a proven track record within the GCC region. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and outlets. * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and failures using appropriate testing devices. * Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. * Ensure all electrical work complies with local Qatari regulations, company standards, and international electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC). * Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards, implementing corrective measures. * Work with various voltage levels (low, medium, high voltage) as required. * Install and connect new electrical equipment, appliances, and lighting fixtures. * Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations. * Respond to emergency call\-outs and resolve issues promptly and efficiently. * Collaborate with other technicians and tradespeople as part of a multi\-disciplinary team. **Required Qualifications \& Experience:** * **Mandatory:** Minimum of **3 to 5 years of proven work experience as an Electrician specifically within the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.** * **Mandatory:** Must be **currently residing in Doha, Qatar** with a valid Qatar Residence Permit. * **Mandatory:** Possession of a **valid and transferable visa with a No Objection Certificate (NOC)** from your current sponsor is essential. Applications without a transferable NOC will not be considered. * Technical Diploma or Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field. * In\-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and diagnostic tools. * Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. * Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem\-solving electrical issues. * Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina. * Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written). * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. **Desired Attributes:** * Strong commitment to safety. * Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Proactive and resourceful approach to work. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
