Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology. **Job Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aluminum Facade Designer to create detailed technical drawings, designs, and specifications for complex aluminum facade systems, curtain walls, windows, and doors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural principles, materials, and fabrication processes specific to the aluminum industry. **Duties** * Develop detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max. * Create 3D models and visualisations using Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and ArchiCAD. * Produce technical drawings and schematics for construction projects using Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. * Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs are feasible and align with project goals. * Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements. * Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback to refine concepts. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology. **Experience** * Develop detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly details for aluminum facade systems using AutoCAD and other relevant software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks). * Create and submit material take\-offs (MTOs) and bills of quantities (BOQs) for projects. * Prepare and submit all necessary technical submittals for client and consultant approval. * Collaborate closely with the project management, engineering, and production teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost\-effective, and meet all project specifications. * Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to understand design intent and resolve any technical issues. * Ensure all designs comply with relevant Qatari standards, international codes, and project\-specific requirements. * Review architectural drawings and identify potential design challenges or conflicts. * Continuously improve design processes and contribute to the development of standard details. * Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks. * Strong understanding of CAD principles and construction processes. * Experience in graphic design and system design is advantageous. * A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required for consideration. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Attention to detail and a passion for innovative design solutions.
