**AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN** **The Car Installer Accessories Technician** is responsible for installing, testing, and servicing automotive aftermarket accessories in vehicles. This includes electronic components, performance parts, lighting, and interior/exterior enhancements. The technician ensures all installations meet company and manufacturer standards for safety, quality, and functionality. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install a wide range of automotive accessories (e.g., car accessories, audio systems, remote starters, dash cams, GPS systems, backup cameras, LED lighting, alarms, etc.). * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to installed accessories. * Follow schematics, manuals, and technical instructions for proper installations. * Maintain clean and organized workstations. * Ensure customer vehicles are protected during installation and returned in pristine condition. * Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding installation details and product usage. * Maintain accurate records of installations, parts used, and work completed. * Stay updated on new accessories, tools, and installation techniques. * Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. **Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). * 1\+ years of experience in automotive accessory installation or related field. * Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and components. * Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
