Opportunity to make an IMPACT with a sustainable global company Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with strong expertise in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of LV/MV electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience with switchboards, protection relays, transformers, and modern electrical test equipment\-preferably Schneider Electric technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** ------------------------- ### **Installation, Testing \& Commissioning** * Perform installation, operation, testing, and commissioning of LV and MV AIS/GIS switchboards, preferably Schneider Electric switchboards. * Conduct testing of CTs, VTs, Circuit Breakers (CBs) and related power system components. * Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of power transformers. * Carry out functional tests, logic checks, and verification procedures for electrical protection systems. ### **Maintenance \& Troubleshooting:** * Diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical and numerical protection relays, preferably Schneider Electric types such as Micom, Sepam, Tesys‑T, etc. * Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of circuit breakers and switchboards. * Conduct electrical network fault finding and troubleshooting with strong analytical capability. ### **Technical Expertise** * Operate modern electrical testing tools such as Omicron test equipment (preferred). * Utilize PLC logic understanding for testing, troubleshooting, and system improvement (added advantage). * Maintain accurate documentation of test results, commissioning reports, and service activity logs. ### **General** * Ensure adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices. * Provide technical support and customer service at client sites. * Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure seamless execution. Qualifications: **Qualifications:*** Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering * Degree or Diploma in Electrical \& Electronics Engineering ### **Technical Skills** * Experience with LV/MV AIS/GIS switchboards (Schneider Electric preferred) * Testing experience for CT, VT, CB components * Strong knowledge of electromechanical and numerical protection relays * Hands\-on experience with transformer testing and commissioning * Knowledge of PLC logic and systems (advantageous) * Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of switchboards and circuit breakers * Experience using modern test equipment (Omicron preferred) ### **Computer Skills** * Proficiency in **MS Windows \& MS Office** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Familiarity with software related to test equipment and protection relay configuration About Our Company: **Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?** When you are thinking about joining a new team, culture matters.
