Estimation Engineer or Estimator

Summary: This role involves analyzing technical documents, preparing detailed cost estimates for MEP electrical systems, and coordinating with various teams. Highlights: 1. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams Key Responsibilities: * Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents for MEP (with focus on electrical systems). * Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take\-offs. * Review project scope and identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities. * Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams. * Support bid submissions, budgeting, and cost control processes. * Maintain estimation databases and cost benchmarks. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Proven experience in MEP estimation. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and materials. * Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Pay: QAR3,000\.00 \- QAR7,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
