We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Junior Electrical Technician to assist in the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities * Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. * Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults. * Perform routine inspections of electrical installations, lighting systems, power outlets, control panels, and distribution boards. * Assist in the maintenance of generators, UPS systems, transformers, motors, and switchgear. * Carry out basic electrical testing using appropriate tools and instruments. * Replace damaged electrical components such as switches, sockets, lamps, circuit breakers, and wiring. * Assist with cable installation, termination, and panel wiring activities. * Read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and technical instructions. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders. * Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized condition. * Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and company policies. * Respond to maintenance requests and support emergency repair work when required. * Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems. Skills and Qualifications * Technical Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * 1–3 years of electrical maintenance experience. * Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and electrical safety practices. * Familiarity with electrical tools, testing instruments, and maintenance procedures. * Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. * Basic troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. * Basic computer skills are an advantage. Preferred Experience * Experience working in facilities management, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, industrial facilities, or residential developments. * Exposure to maintenance of lighting systems, distribution boards, generators, UPS systems, and electrical control panels. * Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems. * Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and low\-voltage electrical systems is an advantage.
