Job Description Structural Engineer to support the technical evaluation and rehabilitation of a reinforced concrete CW Pump Sump structure at a power plant facility The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing structural conditions, reviewing repair methodologies, validating technical proposals, and supporting tender evaluations for concrete rehabilitation and strengthening works. Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. * Valid MMUP/UPDA Certification. * Minimum 7–10 years of experience in structural engineering and design. * At least 3 years of experience in concrete repair projects or industrial civil maintenance. * Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete rehabilitation and structural strengthening techniques. * Experience working in industrial or power plant environments is preferred. Key Responsibilities * Review and validate technical proposals related to structural rehabilitation works. * Conduct structural assessments and evaluate concrete deterioration conditions. * Develop and recommend repair and rehabilitation methodologies aligned with international standards. * Provide technical evaluation reports to support the tender committee. * Review structural adequacy and ensure long\-term reliability of repaired structures. * Support design review and provide design stamping assistance when required. * Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. * Monitor QA/QC compliance during repair activities. * Evaluate root causes of structural deterioration and recommend corrective actions. * Manage and supervise specialized subcontractors involved in repair works. Technical Requirements * Experience with Non\-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as: * Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) * Half\-cell potential testing * Ultrasonic pulse velocity * Knowledge of: * Repair mortars * Epoxy injection systems * Carbon Fiber Reinforcement (FRP) * Cathodic protection systems * Familiarity with international concrete repair and rehabilitation standards. * Ability to perform quantity take\-offs and material estimations. * Strong diagnostic and problem\-solving skills related to structural deterioration. * Experience implementing strict QA/QC procedures. * Certification in concrete repair assessment and rehabilitation methodologies is an advantage.
