Summary: Seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman with expertise in municipality submissions, design services, drawing preparation, and coordination to support the design team. Highlights: 1. Ensures designs are submitted on time and per schedule We are looking for a skilled MEP Draftsman to join our team, with a strong background in handling municipality submissions, following up on comments, and preparing professional responses. Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a consultancy dealing directly with municipality projects Key Responsibilities: Preparing Services Design like Electrical layout , Drainage layout , Water layout, Ooredo layout design of all Residential Villas, Industrial Factories and Commercial Buildings. ➢ Preparing drawings as per municipal regulations and for obtaining NOC’s. ➢ Responsible for all drawing print outs for submission purposes. ➢ Responsible for Archive of all CAD data. ➢ Updating drawings as per latest design information. ➢ Providing support to the design team when necessary. ➢ Visiting site to ensure that the construction is progressing as per approved design. ➢ Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts. ➢ Ensure design works are submitted on time and per schedule. ➢ Perform other duties assigned from time to time. ➢ Providing Drawing Print outs, achieving CAD data and maintaining file records . ➢ Revising red marks on hard copies, incorporating them in CAD drawings ➢ Good sense of design, color and layout. ➢ Can perform on time under pressure. ➢ High level of responsibility and job commitment. ➢ Worked with Engineers in developing design concepts. ➢ Coordinated with customer during design phase. ➢ Provided technical guidance to junior cad Drafters. Requirements: ➢ Good knowledge in CAD, able to work on various construction related projects. ➢ Ability to Read and understand engineering drawings. ➢ Knowledge of all departmental \& discipline CAD Standards. ➢ MS Office \& Computer applications knowledge ➢ Good verbal and written communication skills ➢ Good Team Player, ability to learn quickly under tremendous pressure ➢ Hard Working, Creative \& Cooperative personality ➢ Understanding Drawing comments and revising accordingly.
