**Job Summary** A Networking Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing an organization’s computer networks. This role ensures reliable network performance, supports users and systems, and protects data through proper network architecture and security practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks * Install and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points * Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues * Implement network security measures (firewalls, VPNs, access controls) * Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and backups * Document network configurations and procedures * Collaborate with IT teams to support servers, applications, and users * Ensure network compliance with security policies and standards **Required Skills** * Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) * Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls * Knowledge of network security principles * Problem\-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and in a team * Good communication and documentation skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network\+) * Experience with cloud networking or virtualization * Familiarity with network monitoring tools Job Type: Full\-time Pay: Up to QAR4,000\.00 per month
