Assess geotechnical risks and propose mitigation strategies **What we’re looking for:** --------------------------- * Lead and review geotechnical investigations, including soil, rock, groundwater, and contamination studies. * Develop geotechnical design solutions for foundations, deep excavations, retaining structures, ground improvement, tunnels, utilities, and pavements. * Prepare and review geotechnical design reports, specifications, drawings, and calculations in accordance with international codes (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, ASTM) and UAE authority standards. * Assess geotechnical risks and propose mitigation strategies suitable for large\-scale infrastructure and smart city developments. * Provide expert input during concept, preliminary, and detailed design stages. * Coordinate with structural, civil, transportation, utilities, and environmental teams to ensure integrated design outcomes. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to address geotechnical design queries and approvals. * Support construction\-stage services, including site inspections, design clarifications, and technical issue resolution. * Review contractor submissions, method statements, and temporary works related to geotechnical aspects. * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)
