Summary: Manages all production activities, from material management to delivery coordination, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to specifications and ISO 9001 procedures. Highlights: 1. Manage all aspects of production, including materials and operations. 2. Develop production staff skills and implement process improvements. 3. Ensure production quality, meet timelines, and maintain ISO 9001 standards. a. Management of all production activities including; material management, operations, day to day management of production activities. b. Generating Daily Production reports to accurately show jobs in progress, and scheduled jobs. c. Ensure material is produced and delivered as per the committed timelines. d. Work with Sr Operations Eg. to set production targets, and provide regular updates on any variances. e. Ensure all production processes are executed as per customer specifications. f. Handling production workers – day shift and night shift organization and allocations of workers subject to work load. g. Development of production staff skills to improve production rates, quality, and efficiency. h. Coordination with stores and logistics to ensure adequate material supply to execute jobs in hand. i. Managing machine maintenance schedules to ensure periodic maintenance, avoid downtime, and upkeep of machines and tools. j. Enforce and Implement ISO 9001 procedures and requirements. Maintain and update all ISO related records. k. Update daily production plans. l. Delivery Coordination. m. Set up Production quality protocols. n. Coordinate material consumption/usage with Sr. Operations Engineer. o. Setup and enforce welding procedures and protocols. p. Identify process improvement requirements by identifying, design and implementation of Jigs and Fixtures.
