Opportunity to work with bespoke joinery and high-end finishes Position: Quantity Surveyor Reports to: Head of Fit\-out Department Lagoon Design is looking for a sharp, detail\-oriented Quantity Surveyor to handle our project\-based BOQ production and cost estimations. This is a technical, "hands\-on" role for someone who is exceptionally fast with take\-offs and highly accurate with data entry. **Key Responsibilities:** * BOQ Production (Visual Style): Generate detailed BOQs using the company format, including the integration of Reference Images for every line item. * Break down quantities into specific categories: Civil, Joinery, Flooring, Wall Finishes, and MEP. * Ensure a 99% accuracy rate in all measurements and calculations. Market Pricing: * Maintain a live database of current labor and material rates in the Doha, Qatar market. * Contact vendors to get competitive quotes for specialty fit\-out items. Software \& Reporting: * Utilize Excel, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift for rapid take\-offs from CAD and PDF drawings. * Provide marked\-up drawings to verify the logic behind every quantity measured. Site Coordination: * Conduct site visits to verify as\-built measurements against the design drawings. **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** * **Experience:** 1–2 years in Quantity Surveying, specifically within the **Interior Fit\-out** sector in Qatar. * **Technical:** Must be an "Excel Expert" and highly proficient in digital take\-off software. * **Detail\-Oriented:** Ability to distinguish between different types of bespoke joinery, gypsum details, and high\-end finishes from 3D renders. * **Education:** Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
