




Summary: Assists with repairs, adjustments, and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and systems, performing periodic inspections and maintaining tools. Highlights: 1. Diverse specialization areas including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC 2. Works under moderate supervision in straightforward situations 3. Requires working knowledge of job procedures and tools Responsible for assisting with the repairs, adjustments, and ongoing/preventative maintenance on equipment, buildings, systems, or machinery. Areas of specialization may include, but are not limited to the following: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, motors, hydraulic, fuels, gasoline, diesel, refrigeration, and all other types of equipment. May assist with maintenance for electrical, painting, HVAC and/or carpentry, meters, gauges, switches, valves, pumps, plumbing fixtures, plasters, brick, and woodwork. Build sheds and other outbuildings. Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all tools, measuring instruments, and equipment necessary to perform work. Typically rquires working knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through formal training or work experience. Works under moderate supervision in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions. Work is typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma with at least 2 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
