* Perform chemical identification, segregation, and compatibility checks of hazardous and non\-hazardous waste streams. * Conduct sampling and analytical testing (e.g., pH, flash point, metals, solvents) to properly characterize waste. * Maintain accurate records and documentation for manifests, waste profiles, and regulatory reporting. * Ensure all waste handling, labeling, and storage meet applicable environmental regulations and internal procedures. * Coordinate with waste disposal vendors and transporters for timely and compliant waste removal. * Support emergency response and spill cleanup operations when required. * Provide technical support and training to facility staff regarding waste minimization and safe chemical management. * Monitor accumulation areas and conduct routine inspections of waste storage sites. * Assist in environmental audits and compliance reviews. * Keep current with new environmental regulations and emerging best practices.
