Drive continuous improvement & digital transformation ***Job Overview*** **Supply Chain / Logistics Director** Lead the design and execution of end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics strategy to ensure cost‑efficient, timely, and compliant delivery of goods and services across the region. Manage procurement, warehousing, transportation, inventory, and distribution operations; build and lead high‑performing teams; own supplier relationships, vendor negotiations, and performance metrics; and partner with commercial, operations, finance, and IT leaders to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation. **Key responsibilities** * Develop and own the regional supply chain and logistics strategy aligned with business goals, including network design, inventory policy, and distribution model. * Lead procurement and strategic sourcing activities, negotiate major supplier contracts, and manage vendor performance and risk. * Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, 3PL relationships, and transportation to optimise cost, service levels, and lead times. * Implement and monitor KPIs (OTIF, inventory days, fill rate, freight cost per unit, cycle time) and use data to drive operational improvements. * Direct inventory planning, demand forecasting collaboration with commercial teams, and stock optimisation across channels. * Lead or sponsor supply‑chain digital initiatives (WMS/TMS/ERP integrations, automation, analytics) to increase visibility and efficiency. * Ensure regulatory compliance (customs, import/export, Qatari regulations), health \& safety, and quality standards across the supply chain. * Build and coach a multidisciplinary team, set clear objectives, and manage budgets and vendor spend. **Qualifications and experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred. * 10–15\+ years of progressive supply chain/logistics experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership; prior regional or GCC experience preferred. * Proven track record in strategic sourcing, large contract negotiations, and managing 3PLs or logistics networks. * Strong analytical, ERP/WMS/TMS experience, and demonstrated success leading digital transformation projects. * Ability to influence C‑level stakeholders, manage cross‑functional programs, and operate in fast‑paced environments. * Certifications such as APICS/CSCP, CIPS, Lean/Six Sigma are advantageous.
