At our hotels, these associates help build a memorable and unique experience—beyond just spa services. Our Spa Specialists demonstrate initiative and deliver a broad range of services to ensure guests’ experiences are memorable. Whether promoting spa services or retail sales, taking and confirming reservations, answering questions about services, checking guests in, or processing payments, the Spa Specialist ensures that transactions feel like part of the overall experience. Regardless of your specific role, certain things are essential to success—the creation of a safe workplace, adherence to company policies and procedures, compliance with quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications remain professional. The Spa Specialist role requires being on your feet and moving (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods); moving across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces; operating reservation software (reading and visually verifying information); and hands-on work (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds (4.5 kg) unassisted and up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) with assistance; reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and squatting). It is essential that Spa Specialists perform all these tasks flawlessly (and any other reasonable task assigned)—so our guests remain consistently satisfied and our business continues to thrive. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Related Work Experience: No related work experience required. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
