Summary: Seeking an experienced Lathe Operator to join our metal fabrication and machining team, responsible for operating lathe machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality. Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Lathe Operator** to join our metal fabrication and machining team. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience operating conventional and/or CNC lathe machines, with strong knowledge of metal cutting, machining techniques, and engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities: * Operate lathe machines for machining metal components according to specifications. * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately. * Perform cutting, drilling, threading, shaping, and finishing of metal parts. * Set up machines, tools, and materials before operation. * Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. * Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper machine operation. * Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment. * Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to meet deadlines. Requirements: * Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Lathe Operator in metal fabrication or machining workshops. * Ability to operate conventional lathe machines; CNC experience is an advantage. * Good knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers. * Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and under pressure.
