Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing customer loyalty to Marriott. Identify opportunities to sell customers higher-end services and upgrades to create a better Marriott experience or event. Encourage customers or prospects to purchase a package or book a sales tour. Explain the details and requirements for attending a sales presentation to potential owners. Verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for packages and sales tours before scheduling a visit to a Marriott Vacation Club property. Determine and provide gifts to customers as appreciation for their patronage (e.g., reward points, show tickets). Answer customer questions regarding property facilities and services. Receive, record, and relay accurate, complete, and legible messages. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure a clean and complete work uniform is worn; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times in the workplace; respect confidentiality when sharing company and/or hotel-related information; protect all company assets. Welcome and greet all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customer service needs; thank customers with genuine appreciation. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer the phone using proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive, constructive professional relationships with peers; cooperate and support each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns.
