BIM Specialist

Description

Summary: This role involves mentoring and training teams on BIM strategy, reviewing BIM deliverables, coordinating stakeholder interfaces, and facilitating BIM model hand-overs. Highlights: 1. Promote and implement BIM vision strategy and practices 2. Ensure compliance with BIM Management Plan 3. Coordinate interfaces between all stakeholders for BIM model content Mentor, train and provide presentations to Contractors, and PWA, teams and staff to further promote and fully implement BIM vision strategy and practices Review and audit specified BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with BIM Management Plan; Develop and implement BIM Coordination Schedule of BIM Coordination Meetings and milestones: Provide BIM monthly reports, including BIM achievements and status, and KPI progress \& factors; Coordinate the Interface between all stakeholders to ensure that the BMI model content includes latest stakeholder data requirements, and ensure that 30 design coordination is complete and updated; Facilitate the hand\-over of the designers BIM model to the construction BIM Team by providing regular detailed design model reviews. These reviews include recommendations to optimise the clash detection process with visual examinations of other tender models and site conditions; Ensure that BIM requirements are fulfilled and incorporate all latest design requirements at all key stages of a project's design development (concept, preliminary and detailed design stages).
