Job Summary: The Head of Data Science leads data teams to develop and implement AI and data science strategies and transform big data into actionable insights. Key Highlights: 1. Transforming big data into insights that support operational decision-making Head of Data Science Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement data science and artificial intelligence strategies aligned with company objectives. * Lead data science, data engineering, and technical analytics teams. * Design and develop predictive analytics and machine learning models. * Oversee data collection and processing, ensuring data quality and governance. * Transform big data into insights and reports supporting operational and strategic decision-making. * Develop AI and advanced analytics solutions to improve efficiency and performance. * Collaborate with various departments to understand business needs and deliver appropriate solutions. * Oversee data tools and technologies such as: * Python * SQL * Power BI * Tableau * Spark * TensorFlow * Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards. * Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data science and artificial intelligence. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 10–15 years of experience in data analysis or data science, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Strong experience building and managing data science teams. * Advanced knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics. * Strong programming, data analysis, and project management skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and managerial teams. * Proficiency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
