Stay updated with new façade technologies and industry best practices **Job Title: Façade Designer – Aluminum \& Building Envelope Systems** **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Industry:** Architecture / Engineering / Construction / Aluminum \& Façade Systems **Position Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Façade Designer specializing in aluminum and glazing systems to join our engineering team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative, practical, and high\-performance façade solutions for commercial, residential, and high\-rise developments. The role requires strong technical expertise in façade engineering, shop drawing development, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate design execution and compliance with project requirements and international standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop complete façade systems including curtain walls, aluminum glazing systems, ACP cladding, skylights, and structural glass applications. * Translate architectural concepts into fully detailed, buildable façade solutions. * Prepare, review, and revise shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details. * Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and site execution teams. * Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international façade standards. * Conduct technical analysis of façade systems including structural performance, wind load considerations, and material behavior. * Review material submittals, specifications, and technical documentation. * Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and site execution phases. * Resolve design conflicts and site\-related technical issues in coordination with project teams. * Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives. * Stay updated with new façade technologies, materials, and industry best practices. * Mentor and guide junior designers and drafting staff when required. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. * Minimum 5–10 years of experience in façade design, aluminum systems, or building envelope projects. * Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, glazing, aluminum profiles, and façade detailing. * Proven experience in shop drawing preparation and fabrication detailing. * Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential). * Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately. * Strong analytical, technical, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent coordination and communication abilities. * Experience working on GCC construction projects is highly preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in high\-rise, commercial, or landmark building projects. * Knowledge of façade fabrication and installation methodologies. * Familiarity with international standards for façade performance, safety, and testing. * Experience with BIM or 3D modeling tools is an advantage. **Key Skills** * Façade Design \& Engineering * Curtain Wall \& Glazing Systems * Aluminum System Design * Shop Drawing \& Fabrication Detailing * Technical Coordination * Structural Façade Analysis * Building Envelope Engineering * Problem Solving \& Design Optimization * Site Execution Support * AutoCAD Proficiency Pay: QAR6,000\.00 \- QAR8,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
