Summary: Perform independent quality control inspection of welding activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, procedures, codes, and project specifications. Highlights: 1. Perform in-process and final QC inspection of welding works 2. Monitor welding activities for compliance with approved WPS/PQR/WPQ 3. Review and coordinate NDT requirements and evaluate results **QC Inspector – Welding** ROLE PURPOSE To perform independent quality control inspection of welding activities on behalf of client, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, codes, and project specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform in\-process and final QC inspection of welding works in accordance with approved ITPs, drawings, and specifications. * Monitor and inspect welding activities for compliance with approved WPS/PQR/WPQ. * Verify welder qualifications and welding consumable control/traceability. * Review and coordinate NDT requirements (RT/UT/MT/PT) with the NDT team and evaluate results against acceptance criteria. * Review and verify contractor/sub\-contractor QC documentation, material certificates, and inspection \& test records. * Raise Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations and monitor corrective actions to close\-out. * Ensure full compliance with project HSE requirements at all times while on site. QUALIFICATION \& CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS * Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Welding, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent trade background). * CSWIP 3\.1 (Welding Inspector) — mandatory and current. * Working knowledge of ASME IX, API 1104, and relevant welding codes/standards. * AWS\-CWI certification an added advantage. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 5 years' experience as QC Inspector (Welding) in Oil \& Gas * Proven QC inspection experience on Oil \& Gas, Petrochemical, or LNG EPC/brownfield projects. * Working knowledge of relevant international codes and standards applicable to the discipline.
