Management and operation of waste treatment facilities **Web Hosting Director** **Job Summary:** The Waste Management Director is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive waste management strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations in the UAE and achieve sustainability through waste reduction, recycling enhancement, and operational efficiency improvement. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Develop and implement waste management strategies aligned with the company’s sustainability goals. * Oversee waste collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal operations. * Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and regulations in the UAE. * Develop waste reduction and recycling programs and improve resource efficiency. * Manage and operate waste treatment facilities (e.g., landfills, sorting stations, and transfer stations). * Coordinate with government agencies, environmental authorities, and contractors. * Prepare budgets, monitor operating costs, and enhance efficiency. * Implement best practices in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). * Lead and develop work teams and promote a sustainability culture within the organization. * Analyze data and prepare periodic reports on environmental and operational performance. * Manage contracts with suppliers and service providers. * Track innovations and emerging technologies in waste management. **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). * Minimum 10\-15 years of experience in waste management or environmental fields, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Strong knowledge of UAE environmental legislation. * Experience in operating waste management and recycling facilities. * Strong leadership and management skills. * Strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions. * Proficiency in both Arabic and English. * Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. **Core Competencies:** * Sustainability and Environmental Management * Strategic Planning * Operations Management * Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) * Environmental and Data Analysis * Leadership and Team Building **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Reduction in volume of waste sent to landfills * Increase in recycling and recovery rates * Compliance with environmental regulations * Reduction in operating costs * Improvement in operational efficiency * Safety level and reduction in incidents Salary: QAR٣٢٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ per month Work Location: On-site
