**Position:** Quantity Surveyor – Steel \& Metal Projects **Employment Type:** \[Full\-time/Contract] **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced **Quantity Surveyor** with strong expertise in **steel and metal works**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring financial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Prior experience in similar projects is essential. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take\-offs for steel and metal works. * Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and material requirements. * Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and progress, ensuring cost control. * Prepare tender submissions and evaluate subcontractor quotations. * Collaborate with the project team, suppliers, and contractors for commercial coordination. * Maintain accurate records of all financial and contractual documentation. * Assist in claims, variations, and financial reporting as required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum \[X] years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in steel and metal projects. * Strong knowledge of cost estimating, tendering, and contract management. * Familiarity with Gulf region standards \[if applicable]. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimating software.
