An IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support to end\-users and internal staff regarding computer systems, software, and hardware. They ensure smooth IT operations by troubleshooting issues, installing and configuring technology, and maintaining IT infrastructure. This role is crucial in keeping the company’s technology reliable and efficient. **Key Responsibilities:** * Respond to IT\-related inquiries and support requests via email, phone, or in\-person. * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and provide timely solutions. * Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices. * Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security. * Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions. * Provide technical guidance and training to staff on software and hardware use. * Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and network improvements. * Collaborate with IT team members to improve systems, processes, and workflows. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications. * Experience with troubleshooting hardware, networking, and software issues. * Good understanding of network protocols, security practices, and cloud services. * Excellent communication and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
