Engage in comprehensive design packages and technical coordination We're Hiring \| Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP Design \& Consultancy) **MDC Engineers \& Consultants W.L.L.** is seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Senior Mechanical Engineer** to join our growing team in **Doha, Qatar**. If you are passionate about engineering excellence and have extensive experience in MEP design consultancy, we would like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities * Design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems for residential, commercial, governmental and mixed\-use projects. * Prepare complete design packages from concept through IFC drawings. * Perform engineering calculations and design reviews. * Coordinate with Architectural, Structural and Electrical disciplines. * Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents. * Coordinate with authorities including Municipality, Civil Defense and other government entities. * Attend technical meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders. * Provide technical support during construction and supervise site activities when required. * Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), QCDD requirements and international engineering standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Municipality Grade "A" Classification (Mechanical) – Mandatory. * Approved QCDD Consultancy Engineer – Mandatory. * Minimum 12 years of experience in MEP Design Consultancy. * Previous consultancy experience is mandatory. * Strong knowledge of Qatar regulations, authority approvals and engineering standards. Technical Skills Applicants should have strong experience in: * AutoCAD * Revit MEP (BIM) * HAP * Elite Software (CHVAC / Fire / Plumbing) * DuctSizer \& PipeSizer * Navisworks (Preferred) * Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 (Preferred) * Microsoft Office Suite Professional Experience Experience in: * HVAC Design * Plumbing Design * Fire Fighting Systems * Smoke Management Systems * Mechanical Design Calculations * Value Engineering * Tender Documents \& Technical Specifications * Design Reviews * Authority Submissions * Construction Supervision * Site Coordination Personal Competencies * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
