Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Develop concepts for structures and then work with engineers to make sure those designs can function as desired in their intended setting or project goal. Beyond operational standards, Architects also need to meet safety standards to ensure no harm to the users. · Controlling \& developing technical drawings for projects from start to finish ensuring high quality, innovative and functional design. · Using the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals. · Developing architecture in line with client’s needs, usage and environmental impact. · Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design. · Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals. · Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact. · Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections. · Compile project specifications. · Keep within budgets and timelines. · Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, codes, guidelines and regulations. · Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project. · Cooperate and liaise with construction \& production professionals. · Follow architectural trends and advancements. **Requirements and Skills:** · Proven working experience as an Architect. · Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills. · Expert knowledge of technical drawings related to fit out, woodwork, metal works \& signage. · Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Autocad, Adobe Products, SketchUp, 3d Max or similar). · Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions. · Visual awareness and an eye for detail. · Communication and project management skills. **Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:** · Degree in BS Architecture or a related field. · Previous experience as an Architect preferred. · Excellent technical drawing skills. · Strong communication and project management skills. · Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc. · Good interpersonal and presentation skills. · Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards. · Strong creative and visualization skills.
