Manage cost control, inventory, and ensure health & safety compliance **Job Summary:** The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency. This role includes menu planning, staff supervision, cost control, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** Kitchen Operations * Plan, develop, and execute menus according to the restaurant’s concept * Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation * Supervise daily kitchen operations and food preparation * Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen Team Leadership * Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff * Prepare staff duty schedules and manage workload * Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and discipline when necessary * Promote teamwork and a positive working environment Cost Control \& Inventory * Control food costs and minimize waste * Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation * Ensure correct portion control and cost\-effective use of ingredients * Assist management with budgeting and menu costing Health \& Safety Compliance * Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards * Implement and maintain HACCP and local health regulations * Conduct regular health, safety, and hygiene inspections Coordination \& Reporting * Coordinate with management on promotions, events, and menu changes * Handle and respond to customer feedback related to food quality * Prepare reports as required by management **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar senior kitchen role * Culinary qualification or professional training preferred * Strong leadership and organizational skills * Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment * Good communication and interpersonal skills \- Arabic \& English Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: QAR6,000\.00 \- QAR7,000\.00 per month Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * Head Chef or similar senior kitchen role: 5 years (Required) Language: * Arabic \& English (Required)
