Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems Job Title: Workshop Foreman Locally available candidates only To supervise and coordinate technicians and workshop activities, ensuring maintenance and repair jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise technicians and daily workshop activities.Assign and monitor job cards based on priority and resource availability.Inspect vehicles and diagnose technical faults.Provide technical support and guidance to technicians during repairs.Ensure repairs and maintenance activities are completed correctly and on time.Conduct quality checks before vehicle release.Monitor technician productivity and work quality.Ensure proper utilization of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.Follow up on spare parts requirements and coordinate with the stores department.Maintain accurate maintenance records and job card updates.Ensure workshop housekeeping and safety standards are maintained.Report technical issues, recurring failures, and maintenance trends to the Workshop Supervisor.Support training and development of technicians.Qualifications \& ExperienceDiploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.Minimum 5 years of hands\-on workshop experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and workshop reporting.Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
