Summary: Oversee and execute comprehensive warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory management, record-keeping, and continuous improvement initiatives. Highlights: 1. Support continuous improvement & inventory optimization **Major Duties:** 1\.)Carry out repacking, labelling, and preservation of materials to ensure proper identification, storage, and readiness for binning or dispatch to end users. 2\.)Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date records in warehouse management systems; retrieve and present data in specified formats (electronic and hard copy) and prepare periodic and ad hoc warehouse reports. 3\.)Execute all core warehouse operations, including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), material inspection, binning and stacking, inventory cycle counting, preservation, and housekeeping, in accordance with the Company’s approved SOPs and procedures. 4\.)Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all material movements to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability. 5\.)Identify, record, and report non\-conformities, discrepancies, and damages promptly to all relevant stakeholders, and support corrective and preventive actions. 6\.)Supervise and coordinate material offloading activities, including containerized shipments, heavy and oversized cargo, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and approved handling procedures. 7\.)Monitor warehouse conditions and proactively highlight any operational risks, safety concerns, or process gaps to warehouse management. 8\.)Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to obtain necessary information and ensure timely and accurate processing of warehouse transactions and requirements. 9\.)Supervise and manage contractor personnel within the warehouse, including monitoring attendance, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, addressing workforce issues, and reporting performance and incidents to Warehouse Management. 10\.)Support continuous improvement initiatives, including inventory optimization, process efficiency, and implementation of best warehouse practices. **QUALIFICATIONS:** **1\.)Bachelor's degree in science or diploma in engineering, with a minimum of three (3\) years of relevant experience in warehouse operations within industries, such as, aluminium smelting, oil \& gas, steel, or metal manufacturing.** **2\.)Proficient in computer applications with demonstrated working knowledge of SAP (MM Module), including material transactions, inventory control, and report generation.** **3\.)Solid understanding of warehouse processes and procedures, including goods receipt and issue, material inspection, binning and stacking, inventory control, and the ability to supervise contractor personnel and material handling activities in compliance with Company SOPs and HSE standards.** Work Location: In person
