Summary: Lead and coordinate environmental projects, conduct EMS audits to ISO 14001, manage client relationships, and develop a team of environmental specialists. Highlights: 1. Serve as primary contact for assigned client accounts **Core Responsibilities** * Lead and coordinate environmental projects from start to finish * Develop project plans, timelines, and allocate resources * Supervise and mentor environmental team members * Review and analyze environmental data and oversee environmental monitoring projects for regulatory compliance * Prepare technical reports on fugitive emissions monitoring and environmental baseline assessments * Create Environmental Management Plans for construction and operational projects * Ensure adherence to the national and applicable international environmental laws and regulations * Support development of E\-HSR technical documents **Audit \& Compliance Leadership** Lead and conduct environmental management system (EMS) audits to ISO 14001 standardsDevelop and execute audit plans, checklists, and protocolsAssess client compliance with environmental regulations (EPA, local, regional, international)Identify non\-conformities and recommend corrective actionsPrepare comprehensive audit reports with findings and risk assessments. **Client Management \& Engagement** Serve as primary contact for assigned client accountsConduct kick\-off meetings and scope definition with clientsPresent audit findings and recommendations to senior client leadershipBuild and maintain long\-term client relationshipsAddress client concerns and manage expectations throughout engagement lifecycle. **Team Leadership \& Development** Mentor and supervise junior auditors and environmental specialistsProvide technical guidance and quality assurance on team auditsConduct training sessions on environmental standards and best practicesEvaluate team performance and support professional developmentEnsure consistent quality across all audits and deliverables. **Technical Expertise \& Standards** Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and ISO standardsProvide expert consultation on environmental compliance strategiesDevelop customized solutions for complex environmental challengesConduct specialized assessments (waste management, emissions, water quality, etc.)Support certification and recertification processes. **Quality Assurance \& Documentation** Review audit reports and deliverables for accuracy and complianceMaintain detailed documentation of all audit activitiesEnsure adherence to Bureau Veritas quality standards and proceduresParticipate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiativesManage audit scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines. **Sustainability \& Strategic Consulting** Advise clients on sustainability initiatives and environmental risk mitigationDevelop environmental management strategies aligned with business objectivesConduct environmental impact assessments and life cycle analysesSupport clients in achieving environmental certifications and recognitionsIdentify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings. **Regulatory \&** **Industry Knowledge** Monitor changes in environmental legislation and standardsProvide regulatory guidance to clients across multiple jurisdictionsContribute to Bureau Veritas thought leadership and industry initiativesParticipate in professional organizations and standards developmentSupport proposal development for new client engagements **Reporting \& Communication** Prepare clear, actionable audit reports and executive summariesCreate presentations for client stakeholder meetingsDocument best practices and lessons learnedCommunicate findings to internal teams and managementMaintain accurate records in BV systems and databases. **Education \& Certifications** Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related fieldProfessional certifications (e.g., ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, environmental compliance specialist)Relevant industry\-specific credentials **Experience** 8\+ years in environmental compliance, auditing, or sustainability3\+ years in a leadership or mentoring capacityExperience with environmental management systems and regulatory frameworks **Core Competencies** Expertise in environmental regulations (EPA, ISO 14001, local/regional standards) Audit and assessment methodologiesClient relationship managementTeam leadership and trainingTechnical writing and reporting **Technical Skills** Environmental impact assessmentsCompliance auditingSustainability strategy developmentData analysis and reporting tools
