Our client, a leading organization driving large\-scale **infrastructure and public works projects** across Qatar, is seeking an accomplished **Engineering Director** to lead the overall engineering function for complex, multi\-disciplinary developments. **Role Overview** The **Engineering Director** will oversee and manage all engineering activities across **civil, infrastructure, roads, drainage, and MEP disciplines**, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence, quality, and compliance with local authority requirements. This is a senior strategic role requiring strong leadership, technical depth, and experience managing large teams and stakeholders on government or PWA (Ashghal) projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide strategic direction and leadership across all engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory standards. * Oversee design management, technical reviews, and value engineering initiatives across major infrastructure programs. * Drive integration between civil, structural, MEP, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project delivery. * Collaborate with government authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance, efficiency, and technical excellence. * Manage budgets, resources, and performance metrics to achieve high\-quality and timely delivery. * Mentor and develop engineering teams to build technical capability and succession strength. **Qualifications \& Experience** * **18–20 years of experience** in **engineering management** with at least **8–10 years in a senior leadership role**. * Proven expertise in **large\-scale infrastructure, public works, and government projects**, ideally within **PWA (Ashghal)** or similar organizations. * Strong technical knowledge across **civil, infrastructure, roads, drainage, and MEP**. * **Bachelor’s degree** in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; **Master’s degree** preferred. * **Arabic speaking**; bilingual proficiency (Arabic/English) is required. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * **Preference for candidates in Qatar with NOC.** **Why Join** This is an exceptional opportunity to play a leading role in shaping Qatar’s ongoing infrastructure transformation, contributing to nationally significant developments and delivering projects that define urban and community progress.
