Join the team as a Project Technical Manager for an onshore project based in Qatar! Are you ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment? **Information about the job:** * Job Title: **Project Technical Manager.** * Projects: **Onshore Project.** * Location: **Doha, Qatar.** * Rotation: **42 working days holidays with 6 flights (round\-trip)** **each year** **.** * Duration: **12 months (renewable).** * Salary: **Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate.** * Incurance: **Provided.** **Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:** * **Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any relevant discipline).** * **Minimum 18 years of engineering/project experience.** * **Valid DP Advanced Certificate.** * **Hands\-on experience with Brownfield projects and NFPS projects.** * **Experience with offshore compression platforms and living quarters.** * Strong background in engineering, technical operations, and project management. * Demonstrated experience in subsea, sealine, and deepwater engineering projects. * Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external engineering partners. * Familiarity with design standards, installation methods, and operational procedures for subsea and platform systems. * Knowledge of project planning, risk management, and budget control. * Capability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions while meeting project timelines. * Proficiency in English (written and spoken). **Tasks:** * Lead engineering planning and execution for sealine, umbilical, riser, and flowline systems. * Supervise project engineering teams and define organizational structure for optimal staffing. * Review technical contract documents and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Develop and maintain engineering standards, tools, and staff training programs. * Oversee detailed engineering schedules and manage outsourcing arrangements. * Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and resolve technical conflicts between teams. * Approve key technical documents and deliverables for accuracy and alignment with project goals. * Support project managers in client and licensor interactions for technical matters. * Participate in risk assessments, design reviews, and 3D model evaluations. * Track and manage engineering budgets, hours, and material estimates. * Ensure proper handover of commissioning, operational manuals, and start\-up plans. * Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
