Summary: This role involves managing kitchen setup, food production knowledge, procurement, and maintaining strong communication, especially with VIPs. Highlights: 1. Manage kitchen setup and maintain optimal stock of essential products 2. Source and evaluate products to ensure best quality and cost efficiency 3. Communicate effectively and professionally, particularly with VIPs · Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales · Basic knowledge about food production \& menu items · Excellent communication skills · Excellent personality and ability to communicate effectively with VIPs · Responsible to buy products that are essential for our premises day\-to\-day operations. He will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock. · Compare and evaluate offers from the market · Able to collect the orders from Depts and buy them on daily basis. · Review quality of purchased products · Maintain updated records of purchased items. · Look for the best deals / quality · Seek to obtain and purchase all goods and services at the lowest possible cost/quality · Able to maintain a proper petty cash daily / weekly · Coordinate with our staff to ensure proper storage \& quantity received . · Well organized · Know the Qatari market would be an advantage.
