




**aily Responsibilities** * **Prepare and bake pastries** – including cakes, cookies, tarts, eclairs, croissants, pies, and specialty desserts. * **Develop new dessert recipes** and seasonal offerings to keep the menu fresh and innovative. * **Ensure consistency in taste and presentation** of all pastries and desserts. * **Follow recipes and portion controls** to reduce waste and maintain cost control. * **Maintain high standards of hygiene** and cleanliness in the pastry station and kitchen. * **Check the quality of ingredients** and ensure freshness and proper storage. * **Decorate and finish pastries** with attention to detail for presentation. **Operational \& Administrative Tasks** * **Plan and organize production schedules** based on daily needs and special events. * **Monitor inventory** of baking supplies and ingredients; request stock when needed. * **Ensure compliance with food safety regulations** and internal policies. * **Collaborate with the head chef or executive chef** to align pastry offerings with the overall menu. * **Train and supervise junior pastry staff or assistants** when necessary. * **Maintain and care for baking equipment**, ensuring functionality and cleanliness.
