Support claims, EOTs, and effective project control **Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer (Civil) to join our Grade A consultancy team.He will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements. The role involves preparing baseline and detailed programmes, tracking progress, analyzing delays, supporting claims and EOTs, and providing accurate planning reports. The position requires close coordination with contractor project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to support effective project control, risk mitigation, and informed decision\-making throughout the project lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. **Planning \& Scheduling** included (Develop, update, and maintain detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent), aligned with contract requirements and approved methodologies, prepare master programmes, detailed construction schedules, look\-ahead schedules, and recovery programmes, establish work breakdown structures (WBS), logic, durations, and resource loading as required). 2\. **Progress Monitoring \& Control** included (Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify deviations, risks, and critical activities, analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays and prepare weekly, monthly, and ad\-hoc progress reports for internal and external stakeholders). 3\. **Delay \& Claims Support** included (Perform time impact analysis (TIA), window analysis, and other delay analysis techniques as required, Support claims, extensions of time (EOT), and contractual correspondence related to programme impacts and maintain accurate planning records and contemporaneous documentation to support claims and dispute resolution). 4\. **Coordination \& Communication** include (Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure schedule alignment, Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding planning requirements, progress updates, and programme revisions, Participate in project meetings and present planning status, risks, and mitigation strategies) 5\. **Risk \& Resource Management** include (Identify schedule risks and constraints and develop mitigation plans, Support resource planning and productivity analysis to optimize project performance, assist in developing mitigation and recovery strategies or delayed activities). **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in **civil engineering**, or Construction Management, or related discipline preferred civil engineering. · Minimum of \[10–15] years of relevant experience in planning and project controls with at least 5 years in consultancy. · MMUP Grade A, **preferred Engineer (Civil) – Grade A i** Job Type: Full\-time
