Maintain machinery and ensure adherence to safety standards **Key Responsibilities and Duties** * **Machine Operation:** Maneuvering 360\-degree excavators, including driving,, rotating, and using controls (pedals/levers) to operate attachments like buckets or breakers. * **Earthmoving Tasks:** Digging, trenching, grading, leveling, and loading material onto trucks. * **Site Safety:** Adhering to strict safety protocols, maintaining communication with crew, and interpreting site plans or markings. * **Maintenance:** Performing daily inspections, checking fluid levels, and cleaning machinery to prevent breakdowns. * **Demolition:** Breaking up concrete and tearing down structures. **Requirements and Skills** * **Certification:** Specialized training, certification, and often a valid driver's license. * **Technical Skills:** Ability to read blueprints, understand laser levels, and operate hydraulic controls. * **Physical Ability:** Good vision, physical stamina, and mechanical aptitude. * **Soft Skills:** Strong communication, attention to detail, and focus on safety.
