














**Job Summary:** The IT Specialist – Head of Department is responsible for overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to the organization’s goals. This includes managing IT staff, ensuring data security, implementing new systems, maintaining network infrastructure, and providing reliable technology solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity. **Key Responsibilities:** **1\. Strategic Leadership** * Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals. * Lead the digital transformation initiatives and technology upgrades. * Plan the IT budget and ensure cost\-effectiveness of technology investments. * Establish IT policies, systems, and standards to support efficient operations. **2\. Infrastructure \& Systems Management** * Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and hardware. * Ensure high availability of network and systems infrastructure. * Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. * Supervise the implementation and maintenance of enterprise software systems (ERP, HRMS, etc.). **3\. Cybersecurity \& Data Protection** * Implement and monitor data security measures to protect against cyber threats. * Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NCA, etc.). * Conduct regular IT audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing. **4\. Team Management** * Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering skill development and accountability. * Allocate resources and delegate tasks effectively. * Conduct performance evaluations and provide technical guidance when necessary. **5\. Support \& Maintenance** * Oversee IT helpdesk operations and ensure timely resolution of issues. * Manage software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor relationships. * Ensure optimal performance and uptime for all IT systems. **6\. Innovation \& Improvement** * Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend relevant upgrades. * Evaluate and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency. * Collaborate with other departments to understand and fulfill their technology needs. **Qualifications \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). * Minimum **8–12 years** of IT experience, with at least **3–5 years in a leadership role**. * Strong knowledge of networking, server management, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems. * Experience with **cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)** is an advantage. * Excellent problem\-solving, analytical, and decision\-making skills. * Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities **Key Skills:** * IT Strategy \& Planning * Network \& Infrastructure Management * Cybersecurity \& Risk Management * Budgeting \& Cost Control * Vendor \& Stakeholder Management * Cloud Computing \& Virtualization * ERP/CRM Systems Administration * Team Leadership \& Mentorship **Working Conditions:** * Office\-based with occasional travel to branch offices or project sites. * May require availability during non\-business hours for emergency IT support.
